Frozen plains

As frozen metal goes,
Unchanged and unchanging,
Carved by dusty winds, carriers of frost,
I know it’s one of those
Silent days, unending.

On my sheets, the chart draws
Darker, I’m travelling
In cold unknown, dangerous, feared by most.
Like a promise to froze.
Still death unravelling.

And light does as hope does.
Invisible, guiding,
Toward hotter places, which are not lost
To the stillness which rose
From jealous plains, killing.

Mantra of the navigators
25/06/2025

I’m not affraid to die.
My insides are boiling, burning the frost.
I’m seeing the Cold death
And I defy it.
